drhouser_client.jpgDr. William R. Houser, O.D. – Board certified diagnostic and therapeutic pharmaceuticals. Undergraduate studies completed at Michigan State University. Graduate work in optometry completed at Indiana University School of Optometry. Dr. Houser is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Michigan Optometric Association. Examination, prescription of glasses and contact lenses occur with diagnosis and treatment of medical eye care. Evaluations of cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, treatment of eye injuries, infections and allergies are managed on a regular basis.

P2186639.JPGDr. Paul Kimball, O.D. - joins Houser EyeCare. Dr. Kimball, a Midland native, graduated from Midland High School and received his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Grand Valley State University.  He then attended Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN where he graduated magna cum laude and received his Doctorate of Optometry.  While in school Dr. Kimball was elected President of Student Volunteers in Optometric Service to Humanity (SVOSH), a student organization that organizes optometric mission trips to Central and South America.  He travelled on mission trips to the Dominican Republic, Colombia, and Mexico helping to bring sight to over 3,000 people.   Dr. Kimball provides comprehensive eye care for all ages with special interests in ocular disease, glaucoma, and contact lenses.  He is happily married and enjoys soccer, travelling, and spending time with family and friends.

Donna – Receptionist/Office Manager – Generally the first person to greet patients as they arrive. Donna is our receptionist/office manager. Donna has worked in the optical field for ten years.

Jill – Optician – ABO certified, duties include eyeglass frames selection adjustments fabrication of glasses, ancillary testing. Jill has worked in the optical field for seventeen years.

Shelley – Optician - ABO certified. Duties include visual fields, ancillary testing, digital photography eyeglass and frames selection adjustments. Shelley has been in the optical field for six years.

 Janelle – Optician - ABO certified. Duties include ancillary testing, patient education and dispensing, style and frame selection. Janelle has twenty three years of experience in the optical field.
